Super Duplex 2507 Bolts and Nuts
The Savannah River Port in Savannah, Georgia, is undergoing a massive construction project to deepen the shipping channel by seven feet and extend it by seven miles. This is one of the most significant infrastructure projects currently underway in our home state. A deeper shipping channel will allow larger ships to transport the same volume of goods more efficiently, reducing congestion and improving trade flow. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers estimates that this project will save the nation $213 million annually in transportation costs.
Atlanta Rod is proud to participate in the project, supplying over 40,000 lbs of Super Duplex 2507 Bolts and Nuts and domestic 316 stainless fasteners, all manufactured in Georgia. Each lot is fully traceable and undergoes stringent in-house testing to ensure it meets the project’s exacting requirements. The fasteners range from 5/8″ to 2″ in diameter and are packaged and labeled according to job site specifications.
