A354 BC
The ASTM A354 specification covers the chemical and mechanical requirements of quenched and tempered alloy steel bolts, studs, and other externally threaded fasteners 4″ and under in diameter. Grade BC is a medium-strength alloy steel engineered for heavy structural joints, bridge construction, and embedded foundation anchors.
Domestic ASTM A354 BC Bolts & Heavy Hex Fasteners
Atlanta Rod & Manufacturing produces 100% domestic A354 BC headed bolts and foundation studs at our Lavonia, Georgia plant. Our manufacturing processes include domestic hot forging, heat-treating, and precision thread rolling to deliver exceptional fatigue performance. All fasteners meet Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act and American Iron and Steel (AIS) provisions with certified Mill Test Reports (MTRs).
Grade BC is commonly specified in heavy hex bolts and standard finished domestic bolts where high proof loads and structural ductility are required. We also supply mating Grade 2H and Grade DH heavy hex nuts.
